We are all called to share the good news of the gospel with others. Some believers have also been called to join with Jesus in His work of healing the brokenhearted and setting the captives free.
Sunodía’s School of Healing Prayer (SHP) is a way of training prayer counselors developed by Sunodía Founder and Director Jessie Mejias that is based on Micah 6:8.
The goal of this curriculum is for each student to learn how to integrate counseling skills, inner healing, developmental psychology/theology, and deliverance.
The foundational healing model that the SHP uses is Elijah House. There are three tracks for this school depending upon the student’s Elijah House training.
Track One is for students who have not yet taken any Elijah House training. It consists of:
- Elijah House School of Ministry Course 201
- Prayers that Heal the Heart
- Basic Counseling Skills and Principles
- Leading Small Groups
- Elijah House School of Ministry Course 202
Track Two is for students who are graduates of both Elijah House School of Ministry Courses 201 and 202. It consists of:
- Prayers that Heal the Heart
- Basic Counseling Skills and Principles
- Leading Small Groups
Track Three is for students who are graduates of only Elijah House School of Ministry Course 201. It consists of:
- Prayers that Heal the Heart
- Basic Counseling Skills and Principles
- Leading Small Groups
- Elijah House School of Ministry Course 202
Track Four is for students who previously completed Elijah House Course 201 with Sunodía but who have not yet done Elijah House Course 202. It is also offered as a refresher to those who are graduates of both Course 201 and 202. Track Four is by invitation only.
It consists of:
- Elijah House School of Ministry Course 202
All classes meet weekly online via Zoom.

- Track Three: November 21, 2023 through July 23, 2024
- Track Four: May 7, 2024 through July 16, 2024 (Attendance at the School of Healing Prayer graduation on July 23, 2024 is optional.)
